Ruth Beaglehole, founder of Echo Parenting and Education, a non-profit dedicated to breaking the cycle of early family violence, has been a preschool/parent educator for 50+ years. Author of Mama, Listen! Raising a Child Without Violence-A Handbook for Teen Parents, she is an international (New Zealand, India, Congo/DRC) trainer in nonviolent child-raising and a member of the leadership team of the Magnolia Place Initiative in Los Angeles.
