National Bioneers Conference - October 21-23, 2016

The Thrive East Bay Choir is a new and vibrant 11-person choir that sings soulful music about the pain and beauty of our times in service to the great turning. We were born to serve the Sunday gatherings of “Thrive East Bay” , a purpose-driven community for people of all ages and backgrounds who are committed to transforming our lives, the places we live, and the world. In Oakland, as well as in festivals, conferences and direct actions around California, our role as a choir is to uplift the community in song, and facilitate an emotional and intuitive response to balance out otherwise intellectual spaces. We sing a variety of gospel and soul tunes, as well as original music and non-denominational churhc-style community songs to get an audience on their feat, shakin’! We are directed by Bay Area musicians Austin Willacy & Kyle Lemle.
